THE WORK.
Clear scope limits keep projects moving and keep everyone on site safe. These are the standards we apply to demolition work.
SCOPE AND LIMITS.
- SELECTIVE DEMOLITION ONLY
Our standard work is selective interior demolition. We remove specified finishes, fixtures and non-structural components inside existing buildings.
We do not perform whole-building or structural demolition.
- MOLD
DemoSiteReady.com does not perform mold assessment or mold remediation as part of its standard demolition services.
Suspected mold or microbial growth discovered during demolition may result in work stopping in the affected area until it is properly evaluated and, when required, remediated by an appropriately qualified professional.
- ASBESTOS
DemoSiteReady.com does not test, disturb, remove, transport or dispose of known or suspected asbestos-containing materials as part of its standard demolition services.
Suspected asbestos-containing material may require testing or abatement by appropriately qualified professionals before demolition continues in the affected area.
- STRUCTURE + UTILITIES
Structural components and active electrical, plumbing or gas systems are outside standard selective-demolition scope unless specifically identified, approved and included.
Disconnects and terminations that require a licensed trade are coordinated with the party holding that scope.
- UNEXPECTED CONDITIONS
Finished surfaces can hide conditions that were not visible during estimating. When demolition exposes something that changes the safety or scope of the work, we stop, document the condition and address it correctly before continuing in that area.
- PERMITS AND APPROVALS
Permit requirements vary by jurisdiction and by building. Association approvals, work-hour rules and insurance documentation are confirmed before the start date on projects that require them.
THE SITE READY STANDARD.
Site Ready is our demolition handoff standard. It defines the condition of the work area when we leave.
- Contracted demolition complete
- Contracted debris removed
- Loose demolition material cleared
- Work area broom-clean or vacuumed as appropriate
- Debris route checked and cleaned
- Visible unexpected conditions documented
- Completion photos taken
- Project returned to the customer or contractor
Site Ready does not include finish preparation, floor leveling, patching, painting, framing correction, plumbing, electrical work or other construction unless specifically included in the written scope.
